Hilton Head Questions???

We're headed to Hilton Head for our first trip there on Monday. We'll be there through Friday. Our plans are to unwind after a hectic holiday and we're hoping for plenty of rest and relaxation! A couple of questions for you HH experts. Are there any "kids" channels on their cable (Nick, Cartoon Network, Disney, Toon Disney)? We have three children and are hoping for something for them to watch while we read or nap! Are there grocery stores close by? Is there an exercise room with stationery bikes or treadmills? Thanks in advance for your help.

They have the standard cable line up at HHI. It is not the same as at WDW,but more like a local cable company. They also have VCR's and tapes for rent at the general store.

There are several supermarkets in the area including Piggly Wiggly,Walmart, Sams Club, and I believe a Winn Dixie.

There is a fitness center on the property next to the general store.

There are also a lot of activities for your kids -- some for the younger ones and some for teens.

As far as groceries go, I prefer Publix (I guess it's because I usually shop at Publix at home, LOL!) There are two on the island, one on the way to the resort (near the Wal-Mart) and one at Sea Pines Circle.

We'll be there Tuesday (12/31) through Sunday (1/05) -- maybe we'll see you there!!
