I'm planning a DVC trip next April or May and am wondering where I should go next with the kids (ages 4 & 5).

Beach Club or Hilton Head?? Any opinions?

Thanks,
Lin

Hi,

Do your kids like to swim?? I hear Beach Club's got a good one. Haven't been to Hilton Head yet. Good luck with your decision. It all depends on what you really want. Do you want the parks? You will be steps away from Epcot & MGM or do you want a more laid back trip. Do you have enough points to maybe do both? Good Luck & have fun!

Hilton Head would be the one for me -- gentle sloping beach nice laid back lifestyle.

jj...... :)

We went to HH last April1-5 and we just got back from BCV last week. We loved both. It was a little cool at HH but we did have some good pool days, thanks to the heated pool. We needed sweatshirts at night but it was beautiful and my DH and kids loved HH. They all want to go back. Very relaxing!
We also went to BCV and didn't go to the parks at all (we just went last December). Thanks to Stormalong Bay (the pool at BCV) my kids didn't ask one time to go. It is very kid friendly, even to younger kids. There is one whole area that has sand to dig in and isn't over their heads. So, depending on whether you want it hotter or not, your travel situation, and cooperating weather, either is a great choice. It was warmer in HH last April than Florida due to a weird cold front. Both were relaxing and beautiful. You can' make a wrong choice. Have fun!

We have also been to both. For our family, they are two very different vacations. At WDW and BCV, we enjoy the parks and dining out at all of the different restaurants. SAB was fun for the kids but my kids (3 & 8) enjoy any type of pool activity. At HH, we enjoy the laid back atmosphere and just hanging around the pool, going to the beach, a bike ride here and there. Also, at HH, we find it's easier to cook in our villa instead of dining out every evening. We own more points at HH because we have planned to spend a week there every summer. WDW we'll do at different times of the year -- giving us more point flexibility.

I don't think you could go wrong with either. Good luck with your decision.
