I am pondering a March or November trip to Hilton Head for my DH and I. The point values are awesome and even in March 67 degrees(average high for March) is a heat wave for the fortunate people who live in Michigan. Is there enough activities and stuff to do in March and November to make it worth using our points to visit?

Yes, there are still plenty of activities, but it may not be a heat wave. It may be quite windy and rainy in both March and November, despite being a high of 70 degrees.

We lived in SC for 6 years and went to HH quite a few times when they used to have really good visa rates in the off season. We spent time there after thanksgiving, NYE, and in Feb and March. It ALWAYS worked out that the weather was pretty terrible the days we were there until check out day which was always sunny and warm! We spent Easter there and it was a downpour the whole day and all easter activities had to be cancelled...But we had a good time anyways. If you aren't set on outdoor activities every day you should be fine. I'd definitely get a 1 br or bigger so if you are "stuck" inside - it won't be too bad. Otherwise - biking and marsh exploring are fine in chillier weather. It really could be a heatwave - and it really could be 50 degrees and raining...

And we have been there twice in the past six years (including last year) in March and have had beautiful weather each week with no rain. We have been very fortunate. The temperature was into the 70s both times.

We live in Charleston, SC, not far from Hilton Head.

The weather is very iffy in March! Earlier this week was stormy, rainy and cold! And I know you all know colder temps than here, but when you live near the beach it's wet cold and that's miserable.

However, you could get lucky and have a nice few days that are warm ( we're looking at high 70s the end of this week ).

Just know that the weather has a good possibility of being miserable, and if you're OK with that, plan indoor activities!

Those are the two main months we've been (twice in each month). We find plenty to do in those months. Weather is great for bike riding, nature watching (we love Sea Pines Forest Preserve and Pinckney Island NWR) and DH loves to golf. However, we don't swim, which is good, because it's a little cool for that. We're empty nesters who think "watching ESPN" (DH) and "sitting on the balcony with my binoculars" (Me) are the definition of great entertainment.
