Hilton Head in March

I'm wondering about going to Hilton Head for Spring Break. How is the weather? Is it warm enough to swim in the ocean? How about the pool? Have people had good experiences in March? Thanks.

It will probably be a little cool to swim in the ocean. I don't know if the pool is heated or not.

March varies in HH. I went one weekend and had great weather, highs in the 70s. My brother went on his honeymoon and it was much cooler.

We went to HH this past March and loved it!
The ocean was too cool for us, but we swam in the pools (they are heated).
It was cool a few days and nice the rest. We played golf and were able to wear shorts, etc.

The crowds were small, so it was a nice relaxing vacation!
HH is awesome!

I live in Savannah. It can vary from wearing shorts in the day to needing a windbreaker or sweatshirt. That's St Pattys day season so if you're here for the 17th, we have the second largest parade in the country just 30 min from HH. I've frozen my tail off watching the parade but last year it was pretty nice and I believe I wore shorts. Unless you're in the polar club, wouldn't recomend the ocean though.
