Hilton Head in January

Hey Everyone!
My son loves to swim! I know it will not be likely that he can swim in January at HH, but are there other things to do there if we were to book a long weekend?

How old is he?

Biking, boat trip, sightseeing, mini-golf, kid's activities at resort (plus find all of Shadow's haunts), the local museum, shelling, play pool in the lodge . . . . .

He's 4. Maybe a tad too young for some of the activities.

The DVC pool is heated but it's the air temp to worry about.
My son enjoys Island Playground.
Not sure if you have time for this but he also loves Ft. Pulaski in Savannah.
Having dinner at the Wreck of the Salty Dog would be fun for a 4yr old too with the diving suit, sharks, fish tanks & water views.
