hilton head in Feb.

my husband and I are thinking of spending a week at Hilton Head in Feb. We are not golfers. Is there enough to do and is it too cold in Feb? We are from the Northeast.

We were there last Feb and had a great time. As a matter of fact, it lead to our DVC purchase. The weather was fantastic. We left Ohio and watched the temp readout in our car climb the further south we went. All week, it was mid to upper 70's. We love to walk the beach so we did a lot of that! We rented bikes & tried different restaurants with no lines! We have never been off season and now want to go every year. On the way back, we hit snow on the way home! We wanted to turn around and go back!

We were there for rest and relaxation after the death of DH's Dad and step Dad within 3 weeks of each other. HHI really was what we needed! So we took a book and just chilled either by the pool or at the beach. We did some shopping and explored some areas of the island that we had previously avoided because of summer traffic.

We were only there for 4 days but can't wait to go back.

We went over presidents day week, so more like mid to late would be better. We wore shorts during the day but needed a sweatshirt and jeans at night. Still beat what we came home to!!!
