How is the weather in HH in these months? We are thinking about a long weekend/anniversary trip but not if it's going to be super cold. What about restaurants/stores - will everything be open this time of year?

Thanks!

We've been to HHI several times in Feb/March, but not in several years. The weather varied a lot. One year it was in the mid-seventies and sunny. Beautiful for bike riding and miniature golf. But the next year it was in the 50s and rainy/windy all week. All the CMs kept telling us "You should have been here last week-it was in the 80s." I didn't notice that anything was closed. A few resturaunts had closed, but they reopened be Valentine's Day.

I've found that our weather here in Central Alabama is very similar to Hilton Head.

For us, we have very many beautiful Springlike days in February and March. BUT, it can also be freezing cold!

Valentine's Day tends to be colder than usually (<40 degrees), and for some strange reason that I can't figure out...that freakish storm that comes out of nowhere is more likely to come in late March than anytime in February.

January can be ridiculously cold! We had to use up some points a few years ago over MLK Jr. holiday. It was 18 degrees! We were miserable!!!
