Hilton Head in early June

The past 2 years we have gone to HH during our spring break which was in April. In 2005, our break falls in late March. We are hesitant to go to HH in March due to the uncertainty of the weather. Our kids would be disappointed if they were unable to swim in the pools. We would like to go in early June 2005. Do we have a chance of reserving a 2 bedroom 7 months out?

If your dates are flexible it is possible at 7 months; especially for a 2-bdroom. We got a 2-bdroom at 7 months summer 2002, but we wanted week days and we had to try 4 combinations of 3 dnight stay and finally got it(weekends were open, but did not want to use the mega-points). If you can only get part of the days you want, take them and go on the waitlist or ask if you can use member discount to pay for some nights. We love the resort so much that we decided to add on there to have some 11 month points. We usually go at the holidays, but now have a greater option.

Our upcoming HH trip was reserved day-by-day at the 7 month window. We got a 2 br on first try, no waitlist.

Although some say day by day is not necessary or should not be allowed, I think it was the key to us getting what we wanted when we wanted it. We're talking HH in peak season after all. In fact, when I called MS, the CM said I had booked the last unit available for one of the nights.

We are arriving at HH June 20 for a week stay. We reserved our 2 bedroom at the seven month mark with no problem or wait. Good luck.

I'd say you have a good chance of getting that reservation. The fact you want a 2 BR will help tremendously. If you are truly looking at the first half of June, you should be OK. For the second half of June your chances will diminish significantly.
