Hilton Head in April ?

How is Hilton Head weather in April ? I currently have a reservation starting 4/10/10 and I'm wondering if it will be still too cold to swim. Any experience with HH in April ? Thanks !

HH weather is typically very pleasant in April. We were there in mid-April this year and daytime temps were in the upper 70's/lower 80's. The ocean temperature was already in the low 70's and many were enjoying a dip in the surf. The resort pools are heated and can definitely be enjoyed. Evenings will still be in the low 60's - so a sweater or jacket will also feel good.

The resort actiivities are in full swing then.

We were there in 2007, first week in April and it was perfect weather. We enjoyed the island and did two beach days. Water was warm enough to swim, and air temp was perfect for hanging out on the beach.

I just made reservations for the March 28 through April 1st! Hope it's as beautiful as last time we were there. It's a great resort and an awesome place to vacation!
