Hello- are there all interior corridors at HHI or do any rooms have outdoor entrances (like at OKW)? I can't tell by my google searches. TIA!

Yes, the only interior corridors would be at the main building the Lodge, connected to another building next to the Lodge. The other buildings there are no interior corridors, like OKW, you walk up stairs.

Very few interior hallways. Just right off check in desk. Everything else is open air hallways. The main lodge has an elevator and connects to a second building and even those are open air hallways like SSR and OKW (except that handful near the front desk). Those 2 buildings are where the studios and 1BR villas are. If you have a 2BR or 3BR you will be in one of the other buildings. The other buildings have 3 levels and all are above ground with stairs up. Some studios and 1BR villas are also located in these buildings, underneath the 5 3BR GVs, which are the top 2 floors (townhome style).

I stayed there last year and from my memory all were interior. The only outdoor entrances would be the cottages.
Are you thinking of Vero Beach instead? There are no cottages at Hilton Head Island, and there are exterior hallways there as well.
