I just reserved a few nights Easter weekend. Are there any specials events that happen there for Easter?

We were there last year for Easter and they had a huge Egg Hunt. It was divided up by age groups around the resort so you don't have to worry if your kids are small. They had tons of eggs. Be sure to stop in the gift shop and answer the trivia questions everyday. If you got it right you got a pin. My kids are pin collectors so that was one of the highlights of their trip. Be sure to do the campfire stories and activities at night. Loved the place

 BE SURE & GO TO BLUE CRABBE'S SHOWS & MEET SHADOW TOO! THERE SHOW TIMES WILL BE LISTED ON THE BOARD JUST OUTSIDE THE CHECK IN AREA & THEY'LL GIVE YOU A SHEET WHEN YOU CHECK IN LISTING EVERY ACTIVITY HOUR BY HOUR. :cheer2: LOVE HHI!!!!

We missed you! We were also there on Easter-Good Friday until the following Wednesday. On Easter there was a brunch at the Beach House. It was just OK, but very convenient for me. DH was at the Heritage, and I was solo, so I didn't have to worry about transportation. There were several other Easter buffets on the island, including one at Old Fort Pub which, from what I've heard, is the one I'd recommend. Just be forewarned-we made the mistake of trying to go out for dinner Easter night. Most everywhere was closed, but the few places that were open, including Skull Creek Boathouse, were PACKED!!

We are going to HHI for the first time the week after Easter, so this thread caught my eye.

I was wondering if anybody can help me with a building request. We would like to be central to the main hub of things and activities, b/c my daughter is in treatment for leukemia and tires easily. We definitely don't want the ye old long hallway. Any suggestions for requests that we could make?

Thanks in advance :)

The resort is compact but you might request close to the Mercantile (where pool, food, and community hall is nearby). No long hallways, as most rooms are entered from the exterior. Enjoy!
