We have the opportunity to go on a last minute trip this Memorial Day. We are hoping to go th HH and want to stay just the weekend...Friday through Monday. I called MS and Hilton Head is booked for Sun. and Monday. Regardless, the points are sky high for just a weekend stay and not a very good use of points in my opinion. I can get a 2 bedroom Disney HH room on Orbitz for $300 (Fri and Sat - each) and $200 (Sun)...which to me is still a bit too high for just a quickie weekend thing. Knowing that its a short trip and that we'll be spending some of it in Savannah doing the tourist thing and the rest of it on the beach, can someone recommend a cheaper, yet nice and clean place to stay on Hilton Head thats not going to break the family bank? We like Country Inn & Suites, but there isn't one on HHI. We're a family of 5. Plenty of places are availble via Orbitz and Travelocity, but I don't have any knowledge of them such as location, cleanliness, pools, etc. Help!
