Hilton Head...a few questions

If there is an info thread to direct me to...I searched and didn't see one.

~How hard is it to get in here? Much difference between 11 and 7 month mark?

~It's not open year round is it? If not what are the dates?

~If this is our home resort, what would the chances be of reserving a room at say SS or OKW in another year? How about another resort. We like to go to Disney in January/February.

~I am not sure if we would visit one over another(SC vs FL), it might be nice to alternate on off years, but I wonder if buying into one over the other would make more sense to have the booking advantage assuming we equally alternated each year.

~Any other info I might find informative?

at 7 months harder to get summer for studios and one bedrooms. Two bedrooms can be had a little easier but not much during the summer. Holidays can be difficult at 7 months as can Grand Villas

It is open year round.

I would not buy there to stay elsewhere. If you really want HHI in the harder to book months just buy a small contract there. Dues are higher at HHI than the WDW properties.

If you want to book at WDW, buy where you want to stay, it gets harder and harder to book at 7 months.
