Has anyone stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations at the Seaworld Entrance? I'll be staying there this weekend on business. I plan on visiting WDW on Friday after a morning meeting. How close is it to Epcot and MK? What else is there to do nearby? Good restaurants? etc.... Is it pretty close to Downtown Disney?

it is a much better location for SW. SW is across the street

that say on I4 - DD is the next exit down - epcot is the second or third (?) exit

using ID - it is around 15 minutes to Epcot - if you miss every light then 20 minutes.

the Reinassuance (across the street too) has some restuarants. they were pretty good - don't know recent reviews.

If anyone else has more information about this resort...please post...coming to HGV on October 30....and advice or information will be appreciated.....2 adults and 2 kids...ages 9 and 7. Thanks in advance....Oregon Duck

We really enjoyed our stay there almost two years ago. It was a lot closer to Downtown Disney and the WDW parks than we thought it would be, although I can't give you exact driving times. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Actually it is pretty convenient to the parks. Your best bet is to go out on Central Florida Parkway, pick up I-4 for two exits to Epcot Center Drive and go in that way. If you are stuck at rush hour, from Central Florida Parkway simply cross over I-4 to Turkey Lake Road, which becomes Palm Parkway and connects to 535. There is a 24 hour Wal mart just up Turkey Lake Road, and further up is a (humongous) Whole Foods. It's a really great location.

The rooms are OK. Keep in mind it is one bed, so not good for families unless you get the larger room. The one bedrooms only have a micro and a fridge and sink and toaster, no stove. But good for breakfast or a snack. They also have a couch which is nice if you will be spending time in your room. Their internet access sucks, though, on all three occasions I have stayed.

Not true, the STUDIO rooms have only the above, but the ONE BEDROOM condos have a fully equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer. We are a family of 4 and when my kids were younger (we own at HGVC SeaWorld) we stayed in the one bedroom units with no problem. The kids slept on the sleeper sofa in the living room.
