We have reservations Jan.30-Feb.6 for a 3 bedroom at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club across from Sea World. I was wondering if anyone had ever been there and what their experience was. We have a 3 year old and was wondering how it is for that age group also ( what are the childrens pools like, etc... ) Thanks!!!!!

We recently stayed in a two-bedroom. It's a very lovely resort. The units are quite luxurious. Ours had a big jacuzzi tub and big screen tv. The pools are nice. I can't speak to the children's pool since we had teenagers along. There were plenty of activities for kids of all ages. Our favorite thing of all was the screened in patios -- lovely to sit there and linger over coffee in the morning.

if you mean a pool under 2 ft - then I just don't remember one - I will look on my video and see - but I don't think there is one.

the main pool area has 2 pools - one is the sunshine longer - their main pool was not heated when we were there and it got cold fast. mother hated it - but the other pool was okay.

both are fairly big (they need to be).

there is a bunch of activies in the other pool - so I don't know about following a child that young -

it has a volleyball net across the pool - so teenagers can get a bit excited!

There is a kiddie pool, it's about 1 1/2 feet deep, over by the playground just past the main pool. It is warmer than the other pools. Hot tubs are nearby as well, something for everyone

JenDaveBrendan - you will love the big screen TV in the livingroom - they also had a VCR with each TV. there was in livingroom over the TV - a full stero - tapes, CD players.

So I would have some VCR and CD if I had know - of course I probably won't have been able to play the CD - mother just about had the TV on the entire time. She now thinks that is what I need to buy next - in her dreams.

the whirlpool tub is definitely one of the best....very comfortable and fairly easy to get out of - definitely better than OKW.

I really enjoyed out stay here - had fun!!! got to read!!!

what unit or building would you suggest being IN?

Checkin in was 5 minutes. I was originally assigned a 2 BR unit in the Pembroke building but arrived before checkin and requested a room in the Sandy's building and it was granted. Buildings are 6 stories. Room was immaculate and staff was very attentive. I had a few issues which were resolved immediately. There are 3 pools. A children's pool and 2 main pools - one with a waterfall which is much cooler than the other pool. There is also a sandbox play area for children.

There are daily activities at the resort - tennis, basketball, etc. I didn't participate in any so I couldn't respond to that. Overall, it was a nice resort.

2. what building would you suggest as being "good"? or where might we get information on the "way" the resort is laid OUT...?

mind was through RCI - when i was there - there were alot of exchangers through RCI.

have stayed at HGVC in las vegas before and found the accomodation more than adequate....
