Has anyone stayed here? DH and I are looking at staying there, but want some opinions. We are looking for a suite type of place (one where there is a door btwn the bdrm and living room area). Also- we'd like a balcony...we have to have SOMETHING to do when ds goes to sleep at 8pm;). And of course it must be nice and kid friendly. TIA:thumbsup2

Ok...so no one has an opinion of THAT hotel, but how about any others that fit my preferences......suite (seperate door for the room and living area), balcony, kitchen area, family friendly. TIA:goodvibes . Oh...and of course.....VERY close to SW;)

We stayed there last January... got a trade through RCI with some Fairfield points. I thought the place was FANTASTIC. Gorgeous property and pool. One building was still under construction. It was very convenient to Sea World and WDW. We loved it. One of the nicest timeshares we have been to.

We are staying there this next week. I will be able to tell you more then. My dad has a Hilton Grand timeshare and that is his "home" place so I know he loves it.

We were last at the HGVC at SeaWorld around 1999 and we liked it a lot, thought it was definitely one of the nicest timeshare resorts we had seen so far. They were still expanding at that time. The HGVC - Int'l Drive is supposed to be really nice and given the quality of HGVC-built resorts, I believe it. :)

We have a Thanksgiving week reservation for a 3BR sleeps 8 at the HGVC at SeaWorld, which we're hoping to be able to use, not completely sure yet. With kids of both genders (and their friends along, usually), having a 3BR means that we can leave the LR free for anyone whose sleep schedule is different from their roommate(s). Even if you just have one child with you, you may find that having a 2BR is extra nice. :) Then your child can go to sleep with their door closed and you can still use the kitchen and LR. Also, in some rental situations, getting the extra BR costs more and sometimes it doesn't.

We love staying in timeshares for the space and privacy for sleeping and the added amenities that you just don't find in a suite hotel. Both of the HGVCs have great locations, very near Sea World and midway between the Disney and Universal parks - we like that because we usually spend some time at Disney parks and some time at the others, with a day or two for just enjoying resort amenities. A search on these boards ought to show you that this is a favorite for many people around here. :) HTH!

My parents stayed there last year through RCI and it's really nice! They were still doing construction but most of the resort area was finished. The pool is incredible! I don't think you'd have any problems...it's very nice!

Hi,

We own at the Hilton Grand Vacation Timeshare. They have 2 on I-Drive. One by the Premium Outlet and the one by Seaworld. Our Home Resort is the one you mentioned. It is a lovely property and certainly has the wow factor. Staying in the one nearer Seaworld this November. There is a Hilton Grand Vacation website that you can do a virtual tour of the properties - this is really good to get an idea of how nice they are.

Hope this helps.

We stayed there last September. Very nice place and would stay there again. We agreed to one of those special deals where you went on the timeshare tour. They do put A LOT of pressure on your and really will try to prevent you from leaving the sales room if you do not say yes to buying. My DW and I were considering buying but we were really turned off by the sales techniques.

So if you do stay here, great place, just avoid the sales tour and if you do go on it, be very firm on saying no if you are not interested in signing up.
