Hilton Garden Inn, Hershey

Has anyone stayed here? I am going in two weeks with my DH, niece, and parents. I am used to the hotels in WDW and am fearful of staying anyone that is not nice. According to the description they have a breakfast in the AM. Has anyone had the breakfast?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

I've stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Green Bay, WI. That one was very nice and they also servered breakfast. You could have a continental breakfast or food from the hot buffet. Being a chain, I don't think there should be much difference. Have fun!

we stayed there. it wasn't a bad experience, but...we stay at deluxe resorts at WDW, and really wanted to stay at the Hershey Lodge, but it was booked solid. the Hilton is actually closer to Hersheypark than the Lodge, but...this is a hotel that seems to be oriented to business travel. the rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was nice, but the indoor pool was rather small, and there was no "atmosphere". most of the views are of a shopping center.

I have stayed there too. Like BriarRose said, the hotel does have a "business atmosphere", but it's clean and very close to Hershey.

Thank you for the responses.

At $150 a night, I was hoping it was a nice hotel. All the hotels in the area are expensive. I keep thinking what I could get at WDW for this money.
