Hiltom DTD??

Hello to All! Our first trip to Disney will be in Oct and we are looking at the Hilton in DTD, anyone have pros and/or cons for this Hotel? I appreciate it!

We have stayed at this hotel in 2002 and in 2003. Both times we had a very nice vacation. It is right accross the street from Downtown Disney, and it's a quick drive to the parks.

The first year, we had a remodeled room looking toward I-4, the second year we had a non remodeled room looking right at Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island. Every night we could lay in bed and watch the fireworks!

The pool area is very large, with a small kiddie pool. The restaurants were good and their even was a game room for the kids.

I was lucky to get this hotel through Priceline on both of our visits, but make sure to check their web site, sometimes they have some low rates.

Have fun, I'd stay there again!
