and the fact that he was mostly raised by his white grandparents.

Where was his Mother? Also, does he have brothers and sisters?

Actually, he IS white. At least he is just as much white as he is black, which for some reason many people seem to ignore. Perhaps one could argue slightly more white than black when you account for mitochondrial DNA, (we're all ever-so-slightly more our mother's children than our father's) and the fact that he was mostly raised by his white grandparents. But really, who cares?
The reason I am pointing this out is I too am tired of the racial talk. His race doesn't matter, and he is essentially no more of one than the other. I like Hillary better for her views and experience..period. If I thought Obama had better positions on the issues and the experience needed to lead the free world, I would be right in his court. I don't at this time.
If he is the nominee, I will have to consider very carefully who I will vote for in the general. I will keep an open mind during the debates and probably base my decision on how he and McCain answer questions on the issues. I refuse to get caught up in all the extraneous distractions and the partisan pot shots.

I can't stand his pauses when he talks. It's almost like he forgot the words.
They said last night that he actually reads his speaches from a teleprompter.

I'm a Hillary fan. Obama is too slick for me.
That being said, I'm surprised Hillary supporters would seriously consider McCain. Obama and Hillary are almost identical on the issues, where it counts.
McCain has the potential to be disastrous for women. He's basically four more years of Bush. And he'll bring with him all the Republican players with their Republican agenda... and he'll provide the last vote to overturn Roe v. Wade.

The problem for Obama is too many of his supporters are so over the top at times that everyone is hating on him for it.
They are like the die hard Bush supporters that think he can do no wrong. IMO that is what is really scaring so many of the HS.
By loving him so much they are going to loose the general election for him if he wins the primary.
As a resident of Florida Hillary has me pretty peved right now!
She is on TV going on and on about counting the votes in Florida!
Where was she in January when we were voting? Now that she needs our votes she wants them counted. She had no problem signing the pact to throw our votes out back then, what gives now?
I'll vote for her if she gets the nod, but this does not sit well with me at all!
Glad to hear someone in FL has noticed this. That speech she just gave has me more than peeved.

If that is why people don't vote for Obama, then Hillary doesn't have a prayer.
I find all the talk interesting but my vote will not be based on how someones supporters act. I think I'll go with the issues.
Use "ignore" and you won't have to.
Hillary's crocodile tears over the "disenfranchised Florida voter" has been making me hurl for a while.
Until she needed the votes to concoct her delusional scenarios, she kissed FL goodbye as just one more annoyance in her march to her coronation.
If she gets the nod, it means there were backroom deals, arm twisting, or blackmail. She cannot win this thing in the popular vote, the pledged delegates, or the SD's. She's losing on all sides.
To get the nod, she needs to take the election from Obama. She cannot win the nomination fair and square. Sorry, if the DNC is stupid enough to go along with her schemes, she doesn't met my vote.
