Hillary Rodham-Clinton Running.....

Did anyone else hear or see Dick Morris the other day. I didn't catch it all, but he said something along the lines of yes he thought Hill was running, but here's the kicker, she supposedly will run as just Hillary Rodham. No Clinton, hyphenated or not. Granted I think him and Hill are no longer friends, so I think even he said he didn't have it first hand, but he is a political insider that knows quite a bit about what goes on in Wash.

Just curious to see what some of the politicos on here thought of that. I personally don't care, but I think if she totally drops the Clinton, she will probably lose all hope of getting any moderately conservative votes. But I have also heard that they are actually divorced anyway, not sure why she just wouldn't come right out and say it if thats the case. Just thought it was kind of interesting. I had thought she was going to run as just "Hillary" but I guess that's out the window now.

If she had divorced him when the Monica thing broke I probably would have had more respect for her. If any man had done to me what he did to her and her daughter, his clothes would have been out the window and the locks would have been changed-I don't care if it is the WH. If she divorces him now, even just by removing the name, I'll be cynically looking at it as a political move to remove the baggage.

The sad thing is, I think she's really intelligent-I think they both are, but there are some things that they do that just makes me scratch my head.

Politically speaking, it always seemed that she needed him more than he ever needed her. However, in retrospect I think that she pulled a lot more of the strings then people gave her credit for. She is so dull without his charisma alongside her. I think she'd be smart, and more than willing, to use him for whatever she can. As far as it being beneficial to put distance between them, it sure didn't work for Al.

He hasn't been an insider for a long time. He's basically a guy who needs to get on TV and will make up whatever ship he thinks will get him attention.

Toss this story (and especially anything else he says about the Clintons) into the garbage pile.

PS - Before anyone gets upset at some of the other posters, remember that it's OK to speculate and say bad things about the Clintons' marriage - it's only bad manners to speculate about the Bushs' marriage.

What didn't work out for Al was the miscounted votes.

You don't think he miscalculated by not bringing Clinton on board and then that wouldn't have even been an issue??

I'd be surprised if she dropped the Clinton, because that name has to help her with a lot of voters. I enjoy listening to Dick Morris, but he's not always right, although he is a good bit of the time.

Dick Morris is not that reliable. I will be surprised if she drops Clinton from her name.

I don't care what you say about President Bush's marriage. In fact it's really rather funny, hearing the leftist media tyring their hardest to make things up about Bush's marriage to try and feel better about the disaster called the Clinton marraige. As for saying bad things about the Clinton's marriage, nobody needs to, they do a good enough job at it without anybody else's help. Regardless of whatever political bent you may be, you can't deny a disaster when you see it. I personally don't like Hillary one bit whatsoever, but I can fully understand why should would want to distance herself from her hubby. Wouldn't you? :confused3

I wish that ALL we had to whine about was Bushs marriage.

Anywho....I also heard that Obama may be her running mate. That will be interesting.
