No profanities or anything, just terror. Pure and limitless Terror.

No screamy-ness.

Also, while your at it, check out the Moral Kombat trailer to get your bull to awesome ratio all balanced out.

Addition.

If any mod whishes to fuse this into Stupidity Central, feel free to. I realized after I made this topic I should've put this entire post in that thread.
Changed the title to actually seem nice.

towards the end of the first one it gets kinda creepy...

If you want to keep this independant, please feel free to! I have Stupid stuff on Stupidity central, but this stuff is different somtimes so if you want it to be independant thats OK with me

Not to push how much of a gigantic roll of defecation that Moral Kombat thing is, but I think they based what games are shown on violence, rather than whether or not it was actually a help to their argument. See: Dues Ex, a game wherein you STOP terrorists, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysey, wherein there was no killing of enemies until about the last level or so, a Flight Simulator, my personal favorite of the bunch, wherein you fly planes and NOT crash them into major icons, and Tron, which has no relevency AT ALL. And let's not forget City of Heroes, wherein you are a SuperHero saving the world, NOT DESTROYING IT. FFVII is in there as well. No reasonable explaination for most of the games to be in there. Not only that, but the statement that "We are what we pretend to be" is the biggest peice of lie I've ever heard, and the whole thing is extremely misinformed. The Gaming Industry did respond to Leiberman's "Find a way to regulate who gets what games" as best it could, but he's asking the impossible. There is no way that some companies (regardless of whatever power they may or may not have) can regulate whether or not anyone buys a game. This whole issues is trying to shove blame upon the absolute wrong group of individuals, and it disgusts me greatly. Not only that, but most of the people fighting against video games could probably give a fart whether or not games are effecting anyone. This is a hot topic, and is great for roping in voters from anti-video game activists and the like. Disgusting. On another note, all these people who say that "OMG teh video games made me murder someone!" are in likely to be using them as a scapegoat. Lest anyone take responsibility in the face of severe punishment. Finally, the end of this thing where the MIT professor says that "Teh students want to be game designers!1!1elevenshift! This is bad!1!" is depressingly stupid. Maybe it's because the field of game design is a growing industry and some students have a geniune interest in the field of work? Or would that make too much sense?

Rant over.
