Hey all
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee're baaaaack!!
Got home very late Friday night after a fantastic 5 days of total Disney bliss!
We had a ball! And as is traditional here are our highs and lows
Highs:::
Lows
Thats it! No more lows and to be fair they weren't the end of the world alway! They certainly didn't taint our wonderful holiday!
Must also say thanks to everyone who left lovely comments and chatted with me on the lead up to this trip and all those who offered advice, tips and info and sent CDs (thanks Rach - its still on repeat here!xx)
The parks looked lovely, magical and clean and while there may be areas that need to be used more it was the best holiday we ever had and practically perfect in every way!

Highs:::
- Weather - Monday and Tuesday were glorious. Wednesday was horrid but with a quick change we were well able to take on the very quiet parks and Thursday and Friday we encountered a bit of drizzle but it was perfectly managable!
- New things - we tried new restaurants, conquered fears of rides (which are now faves!) and tried and loved pin trading!
- Food - we had loads of great meals and no bad ones! More on this in the review threads by the weekend!
- Wait times - longest wait was 25mins, mostly walk ons and 5-10min waits! How cool is that!
- Characters - there were loads about! We met the witch for the 1st time and forged a relationship with Duffy. I think we all fell in love a little infact!
- Meeting the lovely Donald Ducks Wife and her gorgeous wee chap Jonah. It was so nice chatting and just wanted to say myself and my two monkeys are thrilled to have met you guys and made two great new friends. The kids are still discovering new things in their lovely goody bags xx #nodarkblueallowed

Lows
- The witch kept moving away from DD during the meet and greet - ok I know maybe it was just her 'role' but it was getting to feel a bit nasty after 10mins! DD finally got her autograph though.
- DD then lost her autograph book and James' and her camera (with a huge SD card) on the train back from Val D'Europe and was distraught for the day :'( My poor baby wasn't having a good afternoon but we had plenty of cuddles and she is borrowing my old one for our next trip so its all ok now. Such a pity but we have the best memories and we cannot leave them behind on the train
Must say she did have some lovely pics too so on the upside we may just have discovered her future career
- Getting back to Ireland - my car broke down two minutes down the road from the airport parking and it was 2 hours before the breakdown service arrived. Our plane had already been delayed so I ended up driving home in the dark and I had anxiety attacks the whole 1 and a half hours drive home
I'm not good with driving at night and on motorways and my windscreen was was glarey from where'd I'd rubbed it plus I was sleepy. UUUUUUUGH! Mams driving next time though

- great to hear your good comments about the Santa Fe too - will be staying there in february so that is reasuring
. So glad you had the trip you hoped for with good weather (mostly!), short queues and lots of characters and new experiences. I had my fingers crossed for you.

for the camera and the scary experience with the car.

So exciting!
