Highs

Loving the theme of Bambi in the sequoia lodge rooms! Very nice rooms, clean and well presented loved the chocolate coins touch!

Dreams was fab!

Lows

It's busy!

While I loved dreams I don't think it is worth standing to get a decent spot so you can be with your child for over an hour. Just for someone to decide to turn up 10 or so minutes before it starts and push in! Made me so mad, why should I let you in when I've waited for so long!!!!

My daughter has a fair few health issues I've never felt the need to ask for privileges at Disney however I wish I had of at least then we would have gotten away from the rude pushing and smoking!

Welcome back! Oh those rude and pushy people! They can add negatives to your trip and make the mood go down. But you did have a great trip! Reviews and TR coming?

Did you really need to wait over an hour for Dreams? It wasn't necessary to do that last summer when it was mega busy.

Anyhow, don't stress over the negatives, there's rude people everywhere so don't let them spoil your fun. Enjoy the rest of your stay.

Yes we needed to wait (for a spot where my daughter would be able to see from anyway) big thunder mountain, phantom manor, buzz lightyear, Pinnochio and Peter pan were all 30-75 minute waits to give you an idea of how busy it is

I haven't Sussed put how to get the fast passess but even in extra magic hours buzz n Peter pan were 30 minutes! This is the busiest it's been when I've been and I've been at Xmas n Halloween!

Never mind on a plus we ate lunch at inventions and went on indiana jones for the first time!!!!

Headed back to hotel and gonna go back in a bit hopefully wait time for big thunder mountain will be less when the parade is on!

Suss out the fast passes and you'll save loads of time

Just head for the fast pass sign (just to the right of the entrance for BTM), scan your park ticket/AP and get your fast pass ticket, and then go to the fast pass entrance (further around to the right) for your allotted time window.

Glad to hear Sequoia Lodge theme is nice and that Dreams was good!! And also Inventions!

I do get annoyed with the smoking though especially in places where people are "captive" (like queue lines or waiting for things) so I get what you mean about the smoking!

And agree with others about the Fastpasses - definitely worth using as I think I only had a 10 minute queue for BTM in the Fastpass line when the main queue was 120 minutes when I was last there...

An update, my daughter took ill yesterday. I believe this has been triggered by the exposure to smoke in queues, her need to use her inhalers increased and as a result she always ends up with a really dry mouth and lips as a side effect her lips were so bad they were pouring with blood.

While I never wanted to resort to it her hospital consultant faxed a copy of a recent letter outlining her multiple diagnosis and problems whicheant we qualified for an easy access pass.

We are now in the hotel room relaxing after pretty much going on everything in the Disneyland park in a morning plus 2 character meets!

Funnily enough keeping away from queues and smokers has meant she hasn't needed her inhalers today!

Thank God.....delighted you got your access pass sorted! It's so annoying that smokers ignore no smoking signs and puff all around them....completely unaware of the danger to people...i hate it and am in good health it must be horrendous for a parent with an ill child! Enjoy the rest of your trip x
