We're back :(
We got home just before 1am this morning from an amazing 5 days. I will post a couple of lows but I don't really think of them as lows, we weren't going to let anything spoil our trip!

Highs
Dreams- simply amazing! I know it's been said many times but it took my breath away, we watched twice the second waiting almost 2 hours in the rain but the view made it worth it.

Lots of characters- Minnie and Pluto greeted us in the sequoia lodge when we checked in and we seemed to fall over characters even though we weren't looking for them as our older boys are at a funny age and not overly excited by them. I'll elaborate more in my TR

Low wait times- the only large wait times I saw were crush (obviously!) and BTM. All the rides we wanted were 5 mins.

Meeting Michael Buble!!!- we were queuing for a table in Annette's and in strolled Michael Buble behind me, I almost died on the spot! I didn't get a picture as I was in a state of shock an then didn't want to interrupt his meal but he said hello and it made my day :) :) :)

Our 8 month old- I know he will have no memories of the trip when he's older but he loved it. He is a character magnet- we had some amazing interaction, he got so excited when he saw a character. We watched the parade 3 times because he loved it

Magic on parade- I've read some negatives so went with an open mind but we loved it- perhaps not as much interaction or walking characters as the last one but still brilliant.

I'll leave the highs there but I could go on all day!

Lows
Weather- obviously nobody's fault bit we couldn't have picked a worse time to go, it rained almost every day and always at parade or dreams time but we put on a poncho and ignored it. It also helped as nobody could tell I was crying during dreams! :)

Annette's diner- we went in 2008 and loved it. I personally wouldn't have gone this trip but my DH insisted. The food took so long to come out they sent us a free round of drinks and when it did come it wasn't hot and my onion burger didn't really taste of anything.
But I let them off as I'd met Michael Buble in there and if we hadn't gone I wouldn't have met him! :)

Finding a human poo in Alice's curious labyrinth! There was no other explanation for it. Some people astound me! :( not Disney's fault but it was grim!

Not really a low but I wouldn't recommend good morning fantasy land breakfast at 9:45. It was a fight to get anything but at about 10am it quietened down but given the choice I wouldn't do it again.

All in all it was an amazing trip and I'm so sad to be home! :(

Sounds like you had a great trip, i'm off with a good friend for his first visit in a few weeks, he's not disney mad but i'm hopeful he'll enjoy it!

I'm also looking forward to it as it means I can experiment before our christmas trip... one of these experiments will be trying Anettes! I've always loved the look of the place... and after our last visit Cafe Mickey was such a let down, I really don't know what's happened to that place over the last year.. hopefully Anettes will be a different experience to yours.

Regarding the mess in the labryinth.. really, really amazing... the ironic thing being that if a small child had come across it, it could have been a very bad story... some people are simply disgusting.

Welcome home!

Your highs sound great - glad to hear you found lots of characters out and about as that was the main thing we were upset about in June - there just was so few about.... More hopeful for November :thumbsup2.

Dreams is amazing isn't it. I have made a pledge to myself next trip I am not going to even take a photo - just going to watch all the way through.

OMG - I would have been in my element meeting Michael Buble!!!! Was he with his wife? Strange question lol. I could have been anywhere and still would have had an amazing trip if I'd met him :lovestruc.

We were toying with the girls and my parents having dinner at Annettes but not sure really...

:crazy2: at the pooh. The mind boggles...!

I really hope you have a better time at Annette's than we did. don't get me wrong it wasn't so bad we complained, the manager just noticed how long we had been sat waiting. The food wasn't terrible but just not a tasty as we remembered. The brownie with the set menu was good and the drink included was a pint and I was expecting a small glass. :)

I hope you have a lovely trip and your friend enjoys it too :)

When I saw rapunzel wander past just as got off our first ride I knew it was going to be good! :)

I didn't take one photo or video during either of our viewings of dreams, I knew YouTube would have better offerings than we could come up with!

I did almost died when he walked past me! I shouted "that's Michael Buble" in his ear so he turned round and said hello to me. I went scarlet and nearly threw up on my shoes!
He was indeed with his wife, I think he'll be leaving her soon though- I'm sure he's about to propose to me. Lol :)

We saw Rapunzel as she was leaving the princess pavilion. We had just got off its a small world. She said hello to our DS3 who was waving his arms at her :) it was more luck than anything but she is one of the characters I wanted to see but didn't think I would as we have 3 boys :) hope you get to spot her too. X

That's horrible you saw a poo!! Omg!! We saw a grown man taking a wee against a tree opposite BTM literally 10 meters from the toilet. Loads of people were shouting at him and his friends seemed to think it was funny!

I can't at the poo! that's just so wrong, what is wrong with the world seriously!
