We are literally just back now, cup of tea in hand before getting to the unpacking :surfweb:

I was very worried before we left as each trip we've had has been wonderful, december seemed unbeatable but I have to say this trip was even better :goodvibes

Highs:

So many, I probably will have missed alot, we did 3 very full on days in Paris before 4 at dlp and I think I am now broken!

Hotel New York - our much loved HNY was brilliant we were spoilt with robes, slippers, plush, flowers, water in the room. They gave us a lovely lakeside room with turn down service every night, the cm's were all fabulous, now if I could just move it a little closer to the parks ;)

VIP fast passes - again this ties in to HNY high but this had to be the absolute maker of this trip, they gave us them for the entire 4 days we were there and as it covered the weekend they were invaluable.

weather - how lucky I can't believe, I packed for the worst and we got the best great weather every day, perhaps a little chilly in the mornings but when you're racing about you didn't feel it.

Princess Pavillion - after saying I would never do this we did it twice with no issues and I thought it was really well done.

The parks - everything working was fantastic, I'd read others saying about rides and details around the park being fixed but didn't appreciate it until I experienced it myself :thumbsup2 big thumbs up dlp for getting everything sorted.

Characters/meet n greets - these seemed so much better done on this trip, we met quite a few randon characters just wandering and it was all so much better than previous visits. We've always done the scrums and just accepted up but it was much appreciated to have cm's organising and taking charge.

CM's - even down to the park security everyone was great, maybe the odd one not saying hello but overall fantastic, friendly, attentive couldn't ask for more.

Dreams - you've heard it all before but yes wow!!!

Meals - particularly Cowboy cookout, getting there early and having donald, Jessie, Woody, Tigger and pluto to just 3 kids was amazing, they were on top form having chairs races, wrestling matches, tickle fights and pile ons on the floor :hyper:

Shopping - I have bought a ton of stuff this trip, love all the disney couture princess tops for adults, the ears/hats in world of disney, spent far too much money but really pleased with what we bought.

Lows:

Ummmmmmmm nothing I can think of honestly fanastic, if I had to name something it would be the only rude people we encountered were British :headache:

I may try a trip report or even just a photo report but honestly the best so far :cloud9:

:cool1: Welcome back :cool1: Sounds like an amazing time and a TR/Photo report would be fab :goodvibes

Would love to hear about Paris if you have a minute, did you do much of your original plan or go all free style ;)

Welcome back!!! :goodvibes

Your highs & lows did make mu chuckle...!! Are you fixed yet?!

Did you book a special room at HNY or were they just being nice because you are so lovely?!! We're staying there again in November and would really appreciate a little magic for our stay.

Would love to read you TR - would happily settle for photos!! Especially of all your shopping :hyper:

Carrie - Paris was fabulous love love loved it  I've typed a full reply out twice but disboards is being naughty for me today lol will do a full write up on it I think tonight. One question what is the bridge near louvre with the padlocks all about? never walked over it before :confused3

Mum to belle - I didn't book anything other than a standard room it was utter pixie dust, it was mum's birthday trip, we've never had any extras before so we were a bit overwhelmed. I prefer rooms in the main part of the building at HNY just as its nice to get the lifts down and be in the middle of everything.

Vandalism is what it is :furious: It seriously gets me annoyed. I'll c@p you the bit I put on Kaye's tr when she asked

Soapbox out - Them locks are seen as vandalism by the locals .. they are destroying that bridge which the first metal bridge built in Paris :furious:. They also keep getting cut off by the people who steal metal and then resell which is amusing for all these people who think it's going to stay there forever

3 years ago there were none and then it started following a Italian teen novel where the characters placed a lock on a bridge in Rome to declare their love . The tour guides tell people all sorts of stuff about it been really old, from during the war here in Paris etc etc but it's all bunkum - Soapbox put away
:rotfl:

Will wait patiently for your TR as I sure that it's going to be fab :goodvibes

ps - I know what you mean about the boards playing up. I get it every morning about 10.20 for 30 minutes or so :(
