For future holidaymakers to Florida, here's what I recommend ahead of the rest.
The Serengeti Safari is Busch Gardens!!! - Yes, it costs a lot, but honestly, it was the highlight of our vacation. You get half an hour on the back of an open safari truck and a guided tour which takes you through the plains in where you see rhino, zebra, antelope and other types of animal and get to feed giraffes for a good 10-15 minutes. Seriously, to see and have four giraffe around you in where you can feed them leaves and apples and even pet them is the ultimate experience.
Some of you who have been to Florida or are going will be looking forward to feeding the dolphins at Sea World, which is also a superb experience, but it has to be second to doing this in Tampa.
There's a package where afterwards you get to have a meal in the Rose Crown Colony Restaurant (the one upstairs and not downstairs)... The meal is fantastic and the setting feels like you've gone back 120 years with the view of the animals in the African Plains in the distant.
