Tink 519, Thanks for the tip! It was Thanksgiving Day I was trying for and I guess that is what was holding me up. I have made 5 out of 7, so I feel better now.

Just called and was able to get Chef Mickey's for the exact time I wanted on Thanksgiving Day!!!! That is such a load off my mind!! For some reason, there is a glitch with 1900 Park Fare and it wouldn't come up at all, not even for the cast member I spoke with. I have to call back on that one, but that's okay, I have the most important ones taken care of! Good luck to everyone trying to get in!!!

please keep trying.....or call the dining number and have the CM walk you thru some of the places that are available...
We made a very very last minute reservation for Disney......it was during the last week of getting the free dining ......with the pkg..
So told my husband that we may not get anyplace to eat as I was reading alot of people were not getting any reservations......
SOO we went into this with the attitude ....so what if it isnt the top of our list.
We got six nights of ts restaurants and we even got Le Cellier...so KEEP ON TRYING........and be flexible and look at what else is available and make some reservations......

joby'smom and tink519- it isn't the 90 day mark for Thanksgiving day yet...I assume you are using the 90+10.. if you don't get what you want, call back at the 90 day mark for Thanksgiving day- more tables open up then...I start calling Monday... hope we get what we want!

I had the same problem with October...but I just kept looking and ended up with most everything I wanted.

It is odd how some folks have no luck.

We are going with a party of 12 (yeah 12!) last week of Oct.

Book the 4 group dinners with our first choice.

Ohana dinner
Tusker b-fast
Chef Mickey b-fast
Raglan Road dinner

Then the 3 other meals of just our family of 4

LeCeller
Tapen Edo (spelling?)
Yak Yeti

All were 5 or 6pm ressies also. We did it via the phone the day we hit the 90day mark.

Phew... ok. So I had to change things around a little bit but it wasnt as bad as I thought. It was my first time using the online reservations - not sure how I feel about it yet. I find that I encounter a lot of problems using Disney's online reservation stuff and have to end up calling anyway. But anyhow, I wasn't able to get an ADR at Ohana's at all, so we're going to try Yak & Yeti instead. It actually fits into the schedule better... I was a bit upset at first, but excited to try Y&Y as well!

I have a friend who just got back a couple of weeks ago and she said Yak & Yeti is absolutely fabulous. So I ended up making a reservation for lunch on our AK day. And had to try twice to get it - first time nothing available and 2nd time my time came up so I grabbed it.

I had no trouble at my 90 days for the end of October (got Ohana on a saturday night, Chef Mickey's, CP early morning, Sci-fi lunch), BUT, oddly, I want to change a Rainforest Cafe ressie that I made for 6pm on MONDAY 10/19 to a later reservation, like 7:30pm and they have NOTHING??? Ok, they have a 9pm, but that's too late.

RFC isn't even on the dining plan and I'm amazing that RFC is full on a monday night in October. Hope this isn't a sign that it's going to be packed.

We are going on Thanksgiving day and are a party of 8. Would it be smarter of me to call since most of Thanksgiving people will have already booked by the time it opens up for us or will online be fine? Also, with online and the busy time, do you book one and check out and do the next or will it hold the ones you are booking while you book more? i have never done online booking yet.

According to the 90 days "calculator", it is. This is the date it gave me for my 90days +10. I called in and had no problem getting my reservation for Thanksgiving. It's just locked up online.
