**Highlights Of The Year 2010**

Despite having what really has been a HORRIBLE year at home (and that remains unresolved but hey, not to worry!), 2010 has been lovely in so many ways.

Highlights most definitely include the wonderful new friends I've made and the old ones I've reconnected with - everyone has been so unbelievably supportive, I feel very blessed... Then there have been fab trips - specifically the very special "Here Come The Girls" extravaganza with Claire (Pinky166) & the incredible Westbound Transatlantic cruise that I did solo but never once felt lonely...

But the two most amazing & uplifting highlights only happened in the past 2 weeks. Firstly, my youngest son found out he has a place at Oxford University to study Engineering and, believe me, proud parent doesn't even cover it!!! Then, just when I thought it couldn't get any better, my lovely daughter & her boyfriend announced their engagement and plan to get married in September 2011!!!

So Happy New Year to all my DISfriends - it's going to be a good one!!!

-Meeting Ian, been together 8 months as of yesterday
-Visiting the beautiful Amalfi Coast in Italy.
-Revisiting Wales and the climbing hut I used to stay at every year as a child, hasn't changed a bit!!
It's been a bit of a rollercoaster year in all honesty and i'm striving for better in 2011
