I just had to share one of the highlights of our recent DLR trip. We were leaving DTD one evening to re-enter the park. The security gate we went through was manned by a very nice 60-something man. As we passed through, he smiled and said to my curly blonde 4 year old dd, "Goodbye, Princess!" and without missing a beat, she looked him dead in the eye and said "bye, John." Which was, indeed, the name on his tag.
It was just so funny and unexpected, the adults just burst out laughing. She, of course, had no idea why this was so funny to us.

Ours was from a cleaner in DTD who told our DD that is snowed in DL last night. When she saw the castle she dead pan told us - that man was right - it did snow at DL last night. She still tells everyone she has seen snow at
