Highchair

Did I read somewhere that you can ask mousekeeping to bring a highchair to your room? We are staying at The Beach Club. DD will only be 6 months old so I might need a pillow or towel to support her a little.

I'm not sure about regular hotel rooms, but I know at DVC resorts they will bring a highchair to your room, so I can't see why not. Just so you know the highchairs that are provided are the wooden ones that are in most restaurants. Unless you have a rather advanced 6 month old, I don't even know a pillow would help, since there is really no back to "prop" them up. If you really need a highchair, you can either use your stroller to fed the baby, or rent a true high chair from www.abbf.com

At Grand Floridian, we requested one upon check-in and had no problems. It was an actual high-chair, too - a "basic" model, but more than just the wooden restaurant ones.

At six months we were able to start using this contraption!
It is amazing and worked sooo well (we're expecting the third baby who will use it). It started as a cart seat protector for us (we never imagined we would ever use it for anything else) but then saw that you can use it as an insert in highchairs...so we tried it one of the many times we had broken straps on a restaurant highchair. Then, we saw that you can use it with a regular kitchen chair to secure the baby! That rocked!

The best part is - it's compact...it folds down into a little pouch that zips up and fits in the diaper bag.
