My DS (12 months) needs to eat as soon as he wakes up. Is it possible to request a highchair for the hotel room? We will be staying at WL and AKL. TIA.
I second the recommended chair above. We also used this chair in our hotel rooms for both of our kiddos. Worked VERY well for us.
Another booster seat we used was this one, called the "On the Go Booster Seat" by The First Years. We took this one when we needed something even more compact than the above chair. It doesn't have a tray, but is very easy to pack and doesn't take much room in a suitcase and works fine.
The resorts don't offer a highchair so the above suggestions are a great alternative. If your flying and don't want to pack a portable you can rent a highchair or booster seat from www.abbf.com but it can be pricey for a longer stay. My sil rented a crib from them and had excellent service.
At 1 year you may want to try just using a chair a couple times at home esp for breakfast. You may find he/she does ok with a sippie and some cereal etc right in the chair. Not ideal I know but my neice did ok on vacation and returned to her highchair fine after. Or if you have a stroller with a try maybe that would work in a pinch, just open it in the room?

They sell those cloth supports that kind of strap the kid onto a chair - would that work? We used to have one years ago. I think I bought it at WalMart. It wouls be very easy to pack, and to use everywhere at WDW!
Thanks for all the suggestions! We will be flying so I was trying to think of something that would be easy to pack. Will check out the ideas at Babies R Us tomorrow.
