No, most don't have high speed Internet. The POP only has access via dialup. However, they're working on it.

Free wireless? I've never heard of such a thing, not even here in the tech-heaven of the 128 corridor in MA. Does anyone offer that? Or is this some sort of adware-sponsored service?

There are many places that offer free wireless - even in MA. Try your local Panera Bread Co.

On the web check out www.jiwire.com for a searchable database of wireless networks that will let you specify your location, search radius and limit the search to free networks.

Hmm....

21.95 USD/month
18.95 USD/month
29.99 USD/month
119.95 USD/month

Doesn't sound free to me.... What am I missing?

Many hotels in the Orlando area have wireless in the lobby area. You won't find free wireless on Disney property.

But is there a better way than having to pay $10 a day in the Disney hotels? Is there a fee per logon?

No. You can either buy an hour for 4.95 or a days worth of high speed. Personally I would rather pay the $10 than drive around looking for free wi fi.

I don't know what you are looking at. If this is about the free internet access at Panera Bread - it is indeed free there.

I was referring to the info on jwire.com. I finally found the way to find free locations. My first search didn't seem to have any.

The only free places I found were coffee shops, which generally want folks to be paying customers. Still, I'm amazed that this kind of service is offered. We truly live in a wonderful world! :)

Free Service at Kinkos on Apoka-Vineland. sorry, its not on Disney, but it is like 1 mile from Downtown Disney.
RIght after the turn for Sizzler.
If you have a laptop, u just hook up to their netwok with their lines.
