I read here a few months ago about a HSM parade being added to DCA sometime this month. I haven't seen anything on the schedule, or heard talk of it since then. Is this still in the planning, or was the idea dropped?

I just saw it at California Adventure on Saturday.

We have some pics here on the DIS

I was also there on Saturday and I thought it was quite cute. Catchy tunes and there was even some video taping going on! According to my friends who've seen HSM movie (I know, I haven't heh), they say that the songs are from the movie. Sorry that I can't comment on that aspect of the show.

Overall, a very well done addition to DCA.

Sounds like we may have been there at the same time. There was a guy videotaping the show. Did you see a little girl dressed in a Little Mermaid outfit? She was adorable!

My kids are huge HSM fans, they were so excited when we read about this. I don't see it on the Dec. schedule, do you think they decided to can it?

It wasn't on the schedule until I picked it up at the park - so I think it will still be there - we tried to see it on Friday but they cancelled the show we tried to go to for technical reasons

It was actually quite good.....
My kids both loved the movie and after hearing them talk about for months my DH and I watched it and were not bored! The show at DCA is a straight from the movie - songs, some dialogue lots of fast paced dancing/cheerleading moves etc... The crowd loved it. I think it was playing in two different locations - in front of the big Sun and then again at the Golden Dreams theater. They had 4 shows throughout the day I think.

Have fun if you go!

That's good to hear! We'll definitely look for the show. Thanks.

We saw it sat. also, my dd 6 loved it, but she also loved the movie, I thought it was cute (what I acutally saw as I was video taping for the kid) One hint, go to the second stop it was less crowded, we just asked a CM where it stoped and no problem. Of note, it was only playing on the weekends.

I'm not sure if I just missed it earlier, but I noticed that HSM is on the schedule, but it's at Disneyland and not DCA. Mary Jo's pictures definitely looks like DCA, did they decide to move it?

its at DCA and it was on their handout schedule when we were there Sun.

Two stops - right in front of the sun area and then at the Golden Dreams theater....

That's odd that they would have it on the Disneyland schedule. :confused3 They have it at DCA. I saw it on Sunday (10/22) and took pics for my little sister. She's absolutely ga-ga over High School the Musical! LOL! :rotfl:

Here's some pics I took of the pep rally:

I just checked; and HSM is on the schedule for the Disneyland Park all next week--and IASM has dropped off the unavailable list....

Wires crossed online perhaps????

My DS11 will be so happy. We live on Long Island and the show is coming here in December when we will be in Disneyland. He was bummed about missing it so he wil be so excited to hear about the parade.

Very interesting...I checked earlier and HSM was definitely scheduled for DL but now it is showing as DCA...

Must have just been posted in the wrong place. I don't care where it's playing, as long as it's on. The pics look like so much fun, I know my DS and DD will love it.

OMG my girls are going to FLIP! We're *SO* making a trip down to DCA next Friday when they've got minimum day!
