does anyone know when this finishes we r going the 23rd sept and im really hoping its still on as dd loves it. i know it starts sometime in april but hoping its still on in sept. i havent mentioned it to her in case its stopped by then x

Hi,

DD is SOOO excited that we'll be able to see HSM when we go in May (DH on the otherhand is not looking forward to it!! ), but how does seeing this show work?
Do you just have to queue or do you collect tickets?

No queues, no ticket collection.

Its a mini parade which stops in the place des stars. The CM's get the children to sit down in a square around the area the HSM characters will be performing in, and adults and others stand behind the children sitting. Then the show begins, songs and dances from both shows, theres some interaction with children who want to participate during it, and thats it really. Its all over in about 15 minutes, but its very enjoyable (bet DH sings along, however much he professes not to want to see it ). HSM and HSM2 are alternated during the day, every day (they are scheduled to show 5ish times a day total), so you could see both more than once in one day if you're having a Studios day!

Thanks for that - me and DD are on a mission now so that DH will know the words to at least 1 song!! Only trouble is DD will want to take all her HSM costumes and all her Disney ones - think I'm gonna need a bigger suitcase!!!

where is the place des stars exactly which place is best to sit my DD is so excited to see these show and wants to be at the front she is going to be dressed in the cheerleaders outfit

The Place des Stars is to the left when you come out of the main exit at Studio 1. The HSM shows stop and do their thing directly across the Place from the entrance to Cinemagique (they set up on the Studios Parade route itself).

I'd say, get to the Place des Stars about 10 minutes before the show is due to start - then you'll be in the right place when the CM's come out to set up the area.

Has the HSM parades started already? will they be on in two weeks, my dd(8) love love loves HSM im sure sh'll watch it 5 times a day

It might be best to warn her that he won't!

My daughter (age 5 at the time) was SO excited about seeing this in California last year. Then the show started, and she shouted to me, at the top of her voice, "MUM, ITS NOT THEM!". I said I knew that, and she carried on "BUT MUM, IT'S REALLY NOT THEM" and she went and sat on a wall, refusing to watch it!

Even worse, I found out that that HSM parade you see on Disney Channel, where they're in the Disneyland Park on Main Street, was actually filmed the day we were travelling down to LA - so 'they' were there, just 2 days before us! At the time it didn't make sense because they had "HSM2 World premiere" banners and posters around so we thought they must be doing something for the TV showing which was a couple of days later, but they didn't :confused It all made sense when we got home, saw the parade on TV and then found out when it had been filmed!

Mia knows he won't be there. We saw some videos on youtube from last years show and she knows. I must say, I would have loved to 'meet' him as well

Shame you missed them - that would have been so cool to see them filming. WOW! You can tell I also love the film and the cast, can't wait for HSM3
