My daughters have finally caught on to HSM and the music... they now ask to hear the Jason Nevin's HSM Megamix regularly. So after hearing it 30+ times I decided to create an extended version of the megamix now including "We're all in this together" and a longer "What time is it" segment.

I then took the VIDEO segments from HSM 1 & 2... trimmed, timed and sync'd video to the audio megamix.

I'd like to share the end result with others who still enjoy HSM and the music.....

Running time 7:42

*The youtube upload process created some minor volume anomalies in the posted video.

SHARE the link if you enjoy it and comments/criticism are always welcomed.

What does this have to do with Photography? :confused3

I could understand if you were one of our regulars, but you have a grand total of three posts. Try the Community board. You might want to get your posts up first, so you are allowed to post links.

The header for the forum for PHOTOGRAPHY reads..
"Come share your tips, tricks and great photos! Disney Pictures and Video"

Being a regular has nothing really to do with post count. I have been lurking.... I "attempted" to READ the forum descriptions and post to the appropriate board so that a "regular" wouldn't be miffed... LOL.. oh well.

Sorry, but I feel like your post is off topic for this board. They mean YOUR videos (i.e. home movies) and not a remix of some copyright protected material. As photographers, most of us take copyright protection pretty seriously and do not like seeing it violated. Also, with only a few posts and you trying to circumvent the rules on no posting of links by newbies, how did I know you are even honest. Your link could have led me to some messed up kiddie porn or a site that will load a virus on my pc.

I am not saying that you are the only person in the world chopping up videos and reposting them, but IMO the Community board is more the place for that. Here we want to see photos and videos you took on vacation, of your kid's dance contest, etc...

By being a regular, I mean that many of us hang out on this board a lot and b/c of that regulars might post something completely OT b/c this is where their friends are. You obviously do not fall in to that category. If you want to talk photography and home video, then by all means we will welcome you here and you will find that we are very friendly.

Your points are taken, understood and are respected.

I understand and also respect copyright as I have worked with and used many copyrighted works and have noted credit as needed and this was not intended to be broadcast of infringement nor to offend anyone posting in the THIS or an incorrect forum.

As my story states, it was done in the spirit of entertaining my children and nothing more. This just wasn't the right audience or forum to attempt to share it.

I agree the board seems as though there are many friendly people on board and I hope to see some of that friendliness displayed more in the future.

I thank you for your valid comments/opinions and didn't want to mudsling.

With all due respect, "noting" a copyright held by another in a derivative work doesn't negate the infringement. I'm pointing this out because it's a common myth on the Internet that as long as you cite the work you are lifting, then it's "OK". The work you did on the re-editing is very good, but I think it likely to be removed from YouTube when Disney notices it.... "needed" citation, or not.

Copyright issues aside, its a great video mix!! Kudos on a job well done. What software did you use?
