High school baseball team dying hair blond

My daughter's boyfriend plays on the varsity baseball team and tonight was the first playoff game. As a move to have solidarity amongst the players, last night they all dyed/bleached their hair blond! Even the coach!
Some of them actually looked quite cute. It was funny to see all of them with their caps off and the blond hair!

The soccer players at my high school did this every year for the entire season. We were a powerhouse in soccer so it became a tradition. Some of the guys looked good and other looked kinda funny but everyone did it because it was tradition.

The football team at my school all shaved their heads for homecoming during my senior year. They were all suspended for a week for having a "fad" hairstyle. Yes, my high school was run by a bunch of idiots. Heck, I used to get detention after gym class because we only had 3 minutes between periods and my stupid gym coach used to hold us until the last minute. The dean of students used to stand in the corridor between the locker room and the classrooms and give us detention as we were tucking in our shirts for, yes you guessed it, having our shirts untucked.

Personally I like the fact that they wanted to stand in solidarity, even if its just with their hair.

Yes, luckily it was AFTER prom!

And there won't be any negative repurcussions since the coach also participated.

They won their first game last night! It was a nail-biter! They won 4-3 in the bottom of the 9th.
