High Arch Sandals

My boss has said that he knows when the ambient temperature is above 50°F when he sees me in my sandals. I'm a die hard sandal wearin' fool! :lmao:

With my high arches and the need for support, I wear two brands: Birkenstock and Teva. I wear my Birks for normal knocking around and jeans wearing etc. The Tevas are fantastic for wet rides, going to the pool etc. I try not to get my Birks wet. :rolleyes1

I will say, packing only two sets of sandals certainly cuts down on the packing of the suitcase. :thumbsup2

Ok...great...well I know REI sells Chacas, Tevas, and Keens. So hopefully she will find a good comfortable sandal there with the gift certificate I got her. Thanks everyone for your help! After her birthday, I'll show her the thread in case there's something else she can learn. Thanks again!

teva mush here!!! I never could figure out why everyone thought it was so funny that I could sit with my legs in front of me and bend my toes flat to the ground-apparently that is a trick for those of us with high arches. I have subscribed to the more natural foot theory-I am barefoot as often as I can be so my feet are pretty accustomed to supporting themselves but I do appreciate the arch in the mush shoes for a disney trip

Check orthaheels. I bought a pair of their flip flops and they've got excellent arch support.
