Due to an unexpected change, we're now staying at HIFS this Xmas instead of Nov. I was terrified of what to expect for prices, since it's "high" season. When I called direct, there were absolutely no senior/grandparent rates, no AAA rates for kidsuites, and regular price for kidsuites would have run $169. So, since I'm a Priority Club member (free to join), I jumped on the website www.priorityclub.com and punched in my dates. Still on the phone with HIFS, I had her explain what the suite categories were that I was looking at (ie, on p.c. website, "feature"="residential", "other"="classic" and "kingkids"="kidssuite"). Managed to snag a classic suite for $134/night for Dec. 27-Jan.3, which is $30-35 lower than offered elsewhere that I could find (kidsuite was the same price as over the phone). Plus, this way it counts towards my points towards a free room! Just a heads up for any other (crazy?) person headed that way over the holidays!

I would also suggest that you now ask them to send you a confirmation letter stating your rate; in two out of three check-ins at HIFS they got the rate incorrect, but I always had my confirmation letter with me, and they then corrected the rate.

That's a good idea. Since I did it over the website, I do have the confirmation page (printed out) and conf. #. As a priority club member, on the website itself, you can check your reservation by just inputting that number, and it will show the information. We're really looking forward to this trip, just wish that it wasn't at such an expensive time of year!

I've been checking the www.priorityclub.com website daily, and was able to finally snag a kidsuite for the same $134 that I was paying for the classic suite. I don't know why this opened up, but I'm not complaining! Another hint: at least at this time, you can make multiple reservations, so I'm keeping both, just in case relatives come with us. I'm also making a ressie for two days shorter, in case we go to HRH for a few days. I promise to cancel the extras as quickly as possible to free them up for others when we get our final plans made! Doesn't hurt to check websites frequently...
