This Hotel was amazing, I just returned home after
14 wonderful day's and the Hotel was everything and more of whet we were hoping for. This being my
15th time going to WDW and have stayed at many different places, but this place had it all....
I could list all the good thing's but this post would be too long, or one might think I own the Hotel because of my review, If anybody has any question's about the hotel or any attraction's
I'll gladly answer them..

Did you get to eat your FREE breakfast out on the Deck by the Fountain in the lake?? This was one of the Treats we found at this Resort!!

Did you get a Disney themed room?? I really enjoyed the whimsical themeing!

COULD you beleive how close to the gates of WDW you were??

OUR family Loved this resort!! All Stars was a real disapointment after staying at HIFS.

I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed yourself. We leave Sunday for five days there. When I booked it in January, every post had glowing reviews. Lately, there have been some negative ones, so I was questioning my decision. My kids are 12, 10 & 6, and we are definitely looking for fun over luxury for this trip!

Do you have any tips for me? DId you eat at the hotel? Anything special that I should remember to pack? Any details that you care to share will be appreciated! :)

You just said the magic words...fun over luxury! I think the negative things you heard were from people that were used to the 5* resorts...HIFS is totally family oriented and the kids will love it!

RE: Packing - I wish I would have brought detergent and fabric sheets from home for laundry (it gets expensive). Underpack and do a couple of quick loads while you're there. It makes life so much easier! Also, stop at a grocery store or the Walgreens that is about a mile away and stock up on snacks, pop and bottled water. Microwave popcorn was a big one for us!

Have a fantastic time! We just went in March and I can't wait to plan another trip.

I would bring floats for the pool. They rent them there and I paid $4.50 and hour to rent an aligator. I would bring a couple of cheap ones.

I already bought my alligator at Walmart ($9) and he is ready to go!

I don't need beach towels, is that correct?

Anything else?

They supply tons of towels at the pool...we actually took some back to the room, also. That way we didn't have to bother the cleaning people for extra towels. We loved it also and can't wait to go back!!! We brought soap and fabric softener sheets, as well as dish detergent (for our sippy cups, etc.). We got plastic forks, etc. from the Pizza Hut/A&W in the lobby. They supply a roll of paper towels (they refill it when it gets low). The convenience store in the lobby is nice, also...not horribly overpriced at all.
