HIFS deals in February?

My sister is planning on going to WDW in February, and (finally!) HIFS caught her interest. Unfortunately, the BOGO expires Jan. 31. Did anyone get any reasonable deals at HIFS last year in February (not near President's Day)? She knows that she can do onsite with her AP. but I know that they would love HIFS if given the chance! TIA

When in Feb. is she planning on going? I will play around and see what I can find. Also, she may want to call the hotel a few times to ask what is the best possible rate that they can give her. I probably called them 5 times. Depending on who I spoke with, I received a different rate almost every time I called. I also kept looking on the web for a better deal and I did find one. When I called them, they did match it!

Hi Debbie- The last time we stayed at HIFS, I found a lot of great info on these boards for discounts, one that comes to mind is a travel company that deals with travel agents only. You could call a local one and ask for some prices.( Last year they posted the prices on their site, but not anymore.) They had deals of, 3 nights for 240.00- 5 nights for 400.00, it always seemed to be at about 80.00 per night at the HIFS. The site is:

We want to stay there Feb 4-8 in the sweetheart suit for our 10th anniversary. The best rate we could get was $129. We were also told the BOGO offer ended Jan 31

I'd love to stay there, so if anyone gets a better rate, please share.

Hi Trena- They also had a special thru the Florida Lottery, (bringing in a losing "play fla." lottery ticket) for special pricing; or their family package of 109.00 per night and it includes 2 adult dinner buffets each night(30.00 savings); or advance purchase price of 95.00 per night, but I think they have a non refundable clause if you go that route. Hope you find a good rate.

We got one of those Holiday inn coupons in our sunday paper and it says that its good through feb. 28th.

And i just checked the holiday inn website and the coupon on there says feb. 28th also. so maybe you can still use it on your trip.

Hmmm. I checked the website, and it said that some properties have an expiration date of Jan. 31, so I guess HIFS is one of them. Unlike Disney, the rate changes by the day. (Sis even tried to go in one day earlier, on Jan. 31, to try to get the BOGO, but it was a NOGO ) . So, we're still looking.
