Just booked the HIFS with an entertainment rate of $73 for the King/Kidsuite. We only have one child, but with this we get our own bedroom, she has hers, a little kitchenette, etc. We are only staying 3 days and I didn't want to spend more than $100/night since we are cruising directly after that. My question is, I have the entertainment book which expires in November (we are arriving 12/3), but doesn't the DC membership include membership into the entertainment hotel "system:? That way I don't have to rush to buy the new book, just use the DC card.

I don't have an answer for you...just a question. when does your entertainment book expire in November, at the beginning, middle or end? We have a trip planned for the early part of November using as entertainment rate and I'm trying to find out which book I should purchase.

Thanks in advance. Hopefully my question will help by bumping up yours.:D

My book expires the last day of November 2003. We are not arriving in WDW until Dec 3, 2003, so I am stuck. My DC expires 12/31/03 - along with the Entertainment part.

Just to let you know, your entertainment card is good at Grosvenors in DTD for their character breakfast - a buy one get one. We just used it for our overnight in April. Buffet was great and also you can order off a menu instead of doing the buffet if you are not too hungry. Was a great deal - especially with the card :)

Thanks for answering my question. I can attempt to answer yours since no one else has ventured, as yet.

It's been awhile since I was a DC member. At first, we used to have to purchase the entertainment option/booklet for very little. Then, the DC card had the entertainment logo on the reverse side, I believe, and that was to entitle a member for entertainment benefits. However, for hotels, I think the Orlando area was blacked out...i.e. no discount available. Perhaps your best bet is to contact DC first then perhaps the hotel to confirm.

HTH!

For what it's worth, when I had the entertainment rate at HIFS in March, they did not ask to see my Entertainment card. I have heard from others, who have not been asked for their card as well. Also, I had called HIFS before our trip to see if they would accept the Disney Club card because it has the entertainment logo on the back. They told me no and that they only accepted an evtertainment card, , but I'm not sure they really understood what I was talking about because all of the Disney membership information that I had said that the card could be used anywhere that they accepted the entertaiment card.
