Hiding friends on Facebook

I thought that when FB changed their privacy policies, you were no longer able to hide friends. However, one of my friends has all of her friends hidden on the public search page (if someone searches her on Facebook, her friends are not on her profile page).

I have tried and tried to play around with the settings so that my friends are not displayed on the public search page to no avail. Can anyone help me?

On your profile page, click on the pencil next to the word "friends" above your friend list. There should be an option to hide the friend list from everyone. It will keep the list visible to you and your friends, but block it from anyone else.

Not the OP but thanks 2binak! I didn't even know this was possible and I just did it.
