Hide/Find a Penny Thread

Do you think the cleaning crew is thinking "What the heck?!?!?" Lime green mickey pennies everywhere! I love this game I'll have to check if you are still doing it next Oct.

I am glad everyone likes it, I stole the idea from another thread about hiding pennies to check the cleaning

As long as people are playing and posting about pennies I will keep the thread up to date. We are going again next year in October, so I hope its going that long, too My kids aren't going on this trip, but they would really like it if we can keep it going that long!

What a fun idea - I love hiding and finding pennies. I noticed that no one has added to this thread for a few days - hope it is still going.
I will be there April 17 to April 23 with several family members (and new family as of that week as we will be celebrating DS's wedding ). I would be happy to personalize a penny for anyone going soon after that.

Very cool! I need to print the list out so I can look for them. We leave today! I will update the list if anyone adds on 3/13 and add my pennies Have a good week everyone!

THis sounds like a blast!! Its like our own hidden mickey game only the mickeys move, lol! I'll totally be on the hunt and hide some of my own when i go in april!!

Alright. I put that there on Jan 21st. Has a black X on it. Now find the one in Morocco. I'm glad that it was finally found.

We ar going in August and I will definetly hide some pennies. Green Canadian ones with mickey heads! On the back I will out Hide Me!

And I hid some more pennies. Wow its hard to remember to hide them and to look for them! Anyhow, here are what I hid. I updated the first page also.

Penny #13 DHS-On RnR in Recording Room C. There is the silver fence in the front to keep you from getting too close to the screen. In the one closest to the exit door there is a little space at the bottom of the post. Its a square. I dropped it in there. I did check 3 days later and it was still there.

Penny #14 DHS-In ToT. Right before you go in the library doors there is a female bust. Check in the crook of the back of her left arm.

Penny #15 DHS-In ToT. In the library kiddie corner to the tv there is an old fashioned phone. Check in the little space under the back of the handle. This penny was there 3 days later also!

Penny #16 MK-On Tom Sawyer's Island. At the second boat dock on the island that isn't used very often. There is an area right next to the stairs with some stuff by the post for the roof. Check where the axle goes in the wooden wheel. Its a little high up.

Hello my fellow penny crazy people. LOL

I'm heading back to the World!!

I'm taking my 9 year old niece (I surprised her with the news of our trip on her birthday this past weekend) from April 15 - April 18th. We are planning to hit each park at least once. LOL

I'll take the list of pennies that have been hidden and see if we can find any, and I'll hide a few while I'm there!

If anyone would like to have me hide a personal penny for them let me know and I'll get that done for you while I'm there as well. I did that for someone on my last trip and the penny was found! I think my niece will get a big kick out of the hidden penny searches.

it's a surprise trip for my dd14 and she won't stay out of the computer room... any other day she would be watching the disney channel or something... but nope not tonight she is right over my shoulder... i told her I was working on a project for school... she isn't buying it since I am studing medical student and I am looking at DISNEY... hard to be sneaky with a nosie 14 yr old....

i got to thinking last night how i would mark my pennies... well i found some black puffy paint i had i was not using that i am going to use for the mickey head.... and a silve sharping to write on the back... "I WAS TOO EXCITED TO SLEEP" ... " I CAN'T WAIT" !!!!!!!

I'm taking my niece on her 7th birthday trip, we will be there 4/29 to 5/7 she would be so excited to find a personal penny. If you could do that we would be forever grateful. Chloe will be 7 on May 1st and we will be spending our day in Epcot. If you could hide a penny for her there she would be so happy

I would like to extend the same offer to any other DISers. We would get a kick out of hiding a personal penny for you to find. Just let us know your name and if there is a favorite area/attraction you would like us to focus on and we will make every effort to make your wish happen.
