Hidden Mickey Pattern

Hello,

We are doing a disney cruise wedding or reception (not sure yet) and we would like to do beach towels as favors.

We are totally head over heals for all things disney - however some of our guests are not. I really want to come up with a towel design that everyone will like and want to keep and reuse.

I keep thinking about some sort of sophistocated geometric pattern or something with hidden mickeys or hidden characters. I have been thinking about this for months and can't seem to really come up with much. Our wedding colors are bright pink, dark blue and white - but the pattern doesn't have to have those specific colors.

I didn't know if anyone had any ideas or even any idea where I could look for inspiration.

If you can track down rhonda mccollough (not sure how to spell her last name) she had a design a while back that she made for a graduation invitation that might work. It was a pattern made out of the outline of mickey heads.

Wendy - I LOVE IT!!!!! ITS PERFECT!!!!! I can't wait for DF to get home so I can show him.

I am wondering if I could photoshop little disney characters or wedding specific sort of details into the bubbles.... hmm lots to play with.

I'm glad you like it!!! I wanted the "hidden" Mickey to stand out, but not slap you in the face.......... kwim??!!!!

I could play around with it if you want.......... but, if you don't want it TOO Disney for your guest - I personally wouldn't do too much more to it............ however, if you want some things for Yourself........ I'd be happy to add whatever you like. Just let me know.........


ALSO - Just an FYI - I'm going on vacation on Friday and I'll be gone for almost 2 weeks......... I won't be doing any designs while I'm gone - so, if you make a request after Thurs. don't worry if you don't hear back from me for a little bit!!!

Thanks so much wendy - I have told everyone about it and everyone in my family loves it! Don't play with it I love it as it is.

The only thing I might try to add is some little details that apply specifically to our wedding.

We are doing our rehersal dinner in the napa room and watching the MK fireworks so I was going to try to add a mickey and minnie looking up and some fireworks in a bubble above. If we do a castle ceremony then I would add a castle to a bubble and the cruise ship in another. If we don't do the castle ceremony and get married on the cruise then we are doing a reception back at WDW and so I would add a scuba mickey to represent that reception.

I am a beginner with photoshop but I think in time I could figure out how to do it and make all of the images blend into the bubbles.

I think I would keep the text the same with our names and date but I want to ask DF first. We should have all of our plans settled in the next week or so. Would it be ok if I PM you in two weeks once you are back?
