Hidden Mickey Lanyard Pins for $1.00 ??

Can anyone tell me if they are still having the promotion in the parks that if you buy $30 at Pin Traders in DTD or the major pin store in each park, you can buy a Hidden Mickey Completer Pin for $1.00? We are collecting the Hidden Mickey Lanyard Pins and just learned about these extra pins. Can you find any of these on cast member lanyards?

I can confirm that deal being at DTD and DHS as late as mid July. They where available for trade also. But I can't say I noticed alot of them for trade.

We were there earlier in August & that promotion was still going. It also applied at the pin store in Frontierland. I did see some of the completers on lanyards but didn't notice a lot of them.

Thanks for the info. I know some of their other $1 promotions were short-lived. But for these, I'm hoping they will at least last until mid-September. I am hoping to find some of them on lanyards, though. We might be able to get a couple with the purchase of pins.

I can update this a bit. As of Friday the promotion was still going on, however, at that time Hollywood Studios did not have all the pins available. Not sure if that was just temporary or if they were running out. Also, I did not see any completer pins on cast member lanyards.

We were at WDW Aug. 1-17. We can't pass by a CM without looking at their lanyard so we saw LOTS of lanyards.

DS found a few of the completer pins for trade - the Buzz Lightyear in the green car, the siamese cat surrounded by the blue outline, the strawberry Mickey head icon, and the bear sitting down. We did NOT ever see the bust from the Haunted Mansion - we had to buy that one ourselves. I think the last pin is a Princess and we don't collect princess pins so we didn't pay attention.

WOW - What a long trip! We'll only be there 5 days, but we'll be looking at every lanyard too! Thanks for the update!! I hope we're that lucky!!
