Hidden Gem/Unique Experiences for Tween Girl

DD (11) and I will be taking a mother/daughter trip at the end of March. We have been to Disney as a family several times, so I'm looking for some hidden gem/unique activities or experiences that others have loved or really enjoyed that are different than experiences such as BBB. In the past we've done things such as fishing at Riverside, fishing at Fort Wilderness, string of memories at AKL (one of my daughter's favorites!), resort/poolside activities, face painting in the parks, mini golf.

Some different experiences/activities that we're thinking about for this trip are the mosaic art at the resorts and the pick a pearl at Epcot (she got very excited about this one). We have lunch at Cake Bake Shop planned for our Epcot day. She enjoys baking, jewelry, make overs. We'll have some down time, so looking for some fun mother/daughter type activities to do on this trip. Things that aren't as easy to do when its a family trip with her brothers.

I’d cruise around on the Sassagoula River Cruise one of those days too!

The Garden View - Tea Experience at the Grand Floridian is starting again later this month after being dark since 2020. That sounds like a special, unique experience!

Reservations are not available until after April 20… the slots were “Gone In 60 Minutes”… you can go standby but prepare to be disappointed…

My DD really got into exploring and sampling the different foods at the festival booths at EPCOT when she was 12. She also enjoys water parks and Oga’s Cantina. She recently learned about the After Hour events and thinks they sound amazing.

We didn’t do it, but the carriage rides at the Port Orleans resorts look fun.

Edited to add: if she likes baking, how about the cake decorating experience at Amorette’s in Disney Springs?

Get hot dog nuggets at Casey’s and stalk a table for seated viewing of fireworks
Use a dining alert to get an ADR at Cinderellas and dress elegantly

There are some great experiences at Crystal Arts in Magic Kingdom - make your own tiara, make your own wand, etc. I have personally done the make your own tiara and it's fun. It is a bit spendy ($65+ I think) but if your daughter likes jewelry/sparkly things, it's something to look into. You pick your tiara base and then pick the jewels that go into it. They then make it right in front of you. I'm looking into doing the wand in May. You pick the crystals to fill the wand and then they make it in front of you and do a wishing ceremony.
