Psssssttt, I ran a 5K today!! My first ever, granted it was on the treadmill but I did it.
I think I actually have a chance at finishing the Everest Challenge. I kept a 15:13 pace. I finished in 48:42. I'm so excited!!!!

I'm gonna try again Wednesday and we leave on Thursday. DS and I will try to do a short run Friday, maybe a mile. And the race is Saturday night.

Thanks!!! I might just turn into a runner yet. Guess I don't have much of a choice since all the kids run, PJ runs and DH has decided he wants to do an ultramarathon and a warrior dash.

Haha. Ive been putting it off for a lot of years. I had a good friend pass away in late 2006, he was a runner. and did loads of the local marathons. I always wanted to do one to honor him, and sneak in a WDW trip at the same time. we'll have to see what 2012 brings!!

Maybe we need to set up a DIS meet/ race. That would be fun!!! Get a bunch of us together and see if we can do it.

We will be arriving at All Star Sports late Thurs and leaving mid-afternoon Sunday.
No set plans, just the race Sat night and meeting Pjlla at some point.


More good news!!

DS14 had a meet today and got personal record in the 100 meter 13.01 seconds and a personal record in the 200 meter 27 seconds flat!! He also placed 2nd in his heat for the 200!!!
