I'm taking my grandson to Disney. We are staying at the all star Movie Resort. Can anyone tell me how far Walmart is, & how much a taxi might be. We are not renting a car.

I'm not sure where the closest Wal-Mart is. Usually when we go to Orlando, we stay on site and do not leave except to go to the grocery store but then I do not recall seeing a Wal-Mart.

Maybe 10-15 minutes, it was Publix. We usually drive to WDW instead of flying, we live 7-8 hours from Orlando.

We fly in, so I can't help you with Walmart.

But something we always do is order food from the room from www.gardengrocer.com (Lots of people also speak highly of www.wegoshop.com ) Both will deliver to the WDW resorts, including POP. You let them know what time you'll be arriving-- if they get there before you do, your groceries are refrigerated for you. Otherwise they'll bring them up to your room.

I've never stayed at the All Stars-- we're a family of 5. But, assumng you want groceries, I'm pretty sure you'll have to reserve a fridge ahead of time.

There are a couple of Walmarts within about 5 to 7 miles of All Stars. One is at the Crossroads area of Orlando. I cannot tell you how much this would be for ataxi to take you there though. garden Grocer would be a great suggestion here as a possible hassle saver.
