Hi Speed Internet Available at Movies

The company I work for does selling on Ebay as well as our regular wholesale operation. I'm in charge of the Ebay side of things. When I go on vacation, the only person who can do it is someone who is as dumb as a box of rocks...wait, rocks are more intelligent than this guy! So, I have two options, don't list for that week while I'm gone, lost revenue, or take a laptop with me. I don't use dial up internet access, I have Comcast high speed. So I called Disney 1-407-w-disney to inquire as to what my choices were for internet access at All Star Movies. She told me that the lobby has a kiosk with high speed access, you just need to bring your own access cable. WOO HOO! 9.99/for 24 hours of access. Does anyone remember seeing them there? If that's the case, a huge burden has been lifted off my shoulders!

Sure wish they would put high speed in all the rooms, don't they realize people work while on vacation..lol. Hubby and I run into this problem all the time. Dial up just doesn't cut it.

If there is one place with high speed access I am sure it is quite popular. I would bring your laptop and use the dial up as a backup or go to one of the convention hotels and use their computer. They also have wireless in some locations at a cost.

I'd still get a dial-up for backup just in case the ASMo doesn't have wireless/wired in the lobby, which I don't think they do.

Since you use Comcast and I do believe they don't have dial access numbers, maybe you could get a free trial of some dial-up ISP just to use while you're there then just cancel when your vacation is over.

I didn't know they had high speed at the Movies. I was told it was only in the CR, GF, BWI, YC/BC, CS. Maybe that was in the rooms.

I was concerned that maybe the cast member had the wrong info, but I questioned her numerous times and she said the name of some sort of program they use that has ALL the info about Disney in it. That's where she found it. I think I might call the front desk just to be sure anyway. I will do AOL though just in case its busy when I need it, although I usually check email at 5:00 in the morning or late at night.
