Hi all,

Just found this fab site. We (me,dh and ds age 7) will be visiting for 5 nts on 2nd April staying at the Sequoia. Feel a bit nervous esp after recent posts about this hotel......

We have purchased half board plus vouchers and even though I have read loads on here I would like some advice pls:

We were thinking of:

Thurs nt - Sequoia Hotel - is it Beaver Creek that is less formal pls ?
Fri night - Anettes
Sat night- Arbargh cafe
Sunday - planning on the Rataouille place then thought about the character thing at the Steakhouse - is this in the village and can you use the vouchers for this /
Mon - Walts as it is my birthday
Tues - Lucky Nugget but am concerned about the Goofy issue as would really want character lunch esp if we don't do steakhouse

What do you all think ?

Then...... I realised we do not have enough vouchers so was wondering out of these poss choices which one should we pay hard cash for to make the best use of the vouchers ?

Many thanks for your help on my first (of many lol) questions x

Hi winniespal,
Elaine, Jackie, Elaine and Reid welcome you to the DLP DIS board :flower3:

We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each

If you want to save a voucher, from your choices I would pick Annettes or the Agrabah Cafe I think to pay for separately. The Agrabah Cafe is a very reasonably-priced buffet, and at Annettes you may find that a main course is enough for you (it always is for me).

Hi and welcome

Im not sure if the Agrabah cafe will be open Sat evening as its in the park so will close a few hours before the park does. Often the last meals are served about 4ish in the restaurants outside the main summer period

Your sunday plans won't work if you're thinking of doing both - the sunday meal at the steakhouse is lunchtime only, as is rendez vous des stars.

Apart from that (and the Agrabah cafe issue mentioned above) it all looks fine to me and very nice for a half board plus pick :goodvibes

Neither of the restaurants at Sequoia Lodge are formal, and the Hunter's Grill does a great buffet with plenty of choice. You could always choose whichever you like the look of once you get there.

And please don't worry, I'm sure you will find hotel fine. I had a perfectly good room when I stayed there in January, and the bar/lounge area is lovely, with plenty of places to sit, relax and people watch. :goodvibes

Hello

What time does rendez vouz des stars shut? I thought we could go say 4.30pm to eat?

Thanks all for the welcome x

Not sure what to do now on Sunday ... ds loves the rat but a bit undecided as the LN situation means we might not get a character meal !

What would you all do !

Thanks x
